To achieve this look, the wood is treated with an oxidizing stain to grey or blacken it. Oxidized walnut will be dark brown to black in color.
Please note, oxidizing is a natural process. We cannot guarantee final coloring on any slabs that have been oxidized. Finished slabs may contain shades of brown, gray, green, and orange.
